Friday 19th and Saturday 20th of May, the Falcons showed their skills during the Dutch Technology Week.

In the Klokgebouw the FIRST Tech Challenge competition was held where we provided a demo for the teams and audience. I’m happy to tell you that this was our first demo showing the autonomous skills of our robots! In the beginning we informed the audience about RoboCup and the Falcons at ASML, while explaining the design and showing most of the robots behaviors. Later we were confident enough to start playing robots vs humans (i.e. get-the-ball (in Dutch “lummelen”) and 3 robots vs 2 kids). This interaction with audience/kids and the fact that our robots were stable and safe enough to do this, made the demo into a great success! Thanks for the help Jan, Stan, Coen, Ton & Martijn.
